Description:
From MUT-1366 ac20 y6 x MUT-1105 ery3 msr1 sr1. This is a triply-marked strain for analysis of linkage group I. The y6 marker is closely linked to the centromere, the ac20 and msr1 markers are on the right arm [order y6 - ac20 - msr1]. In combination, y6 and ac20 produce cells with an intense yellow color when grown in the dark. Scoring ac20 for acetate requirement on minimal medium works best at low temperature (12-15 °C).
