Description:
The oda7 mutation was UV-induced in the 137c background. The mutant lacks outer dynein arms. It swims, but more slowly than wild type, and lacks the backward swimming response to stimulation with intense light. It was shown that the ODA7 protein interacts with both outer row and I1 inner row dyneins.
