Description:
This mutation was induced with nitrosoguanidine, and is allelic with pf22A, isolated at the same time. The pf22 mutants partially lack outer dynein arms of axonemal doublet microtubules; flagella are short in exponentially growing cells, about two-thirds of wild type length at stationary phase, and are deficient in 14 axonemal polypeptides.
