Description:
The fa1 mutation blocks flagellar excision after pH shock or other treatments (see MUT-1370 for more information and references). The pf18 mutant (see MUT-1036) lacks the central pair of microtubules in the flagellar axoneme. Its flagella are paralyzed and rigid.
