Description:
The cr3 mutant is deficient in chloroplast ribosomes. This strain is the product of a cross of the original mutant to a wild type strain equivalent to MUT-124. When first tested this strain was easy to score as acetate requiring on minimal medium at 15-17 °C, but it may have acquired a suppressor.
