Description:
This is an osmoregulatory mutant that grows best on TAP medium supplemented with .06 M sucrose, sorbitol or lactose. It was obtained by UV mutagenesis of MUT-124 wild type mt- and backcrossed three times, to MUT-1036 and MUT-124.
