Description:
This strain was derived from a cross of MUT-3382 "Leu suppressor mt+" to MUT-124 wild type mt-. The submission notes for MUT-3766 describe it as psbA A251L. We believe that this is the same site-directed A251L mutation as is present in MUT-3389, but that MUT-3766 does not have the silent T247C mutation that is also in that strain. Please see MUT-3389 for more information on this mutation.
