Description:
The fla17 mutant was isolated micrograms/mL in the 137c background, after mutagenesis with nitrosoguanidine. It shows temperature-conditional flagellar assembly, and was shown to be specifically defective in retrograde intraflagellar transport. It was found that it is an in-frame deletion of three exons of the IFT139 gene.
