Description:
This strain contains the lcib mutant allele and another suppressor gene mutation that hasn't been identified yet. Insertional mutagenesis was performed in MUT-4154 ad1 to get this suppressor that can recover the growth of ad1 at air level of CO2 (350ppm). The walless ad-su8 was crossed to MUT-620 to get the walled progeny of ad-su8.
