Description:
A spectinomycin resistant cassette, CrAad, was inserted within the first intron of the 5' UTR. The mutant has slightly longer flagella than wild-type due to a reduced rate of flagellar disassembly at steady-state length. It has been crossed to 137c four times to reduce background mutations.
