Description:

Genotype: mt+; arg7-8; nuob10::APHVIII; NUOB10C79S,C91S-FLAG; APHVII. This is the amc5 strain complemented with the NUOB10-FLAG gene encoding C79S and C91S substitution. Mutagenesis of amc5 with plasmid pRS426 containing the NUOB10 gene encoding the double C79S and C91S substitutions with a C-terminal FLAG tag and APHVII selection marker. It is paromomycin and hygromycin B resistant. This strain should be maintained in low-medium light conditions (max. 50 µmol.m-2.s-1) and media should contain arginine. Do not maintain in the dark as it is respiratory-deficient.
