MUT-73 ery3a mt-
Catalog No: ALS-01261
Product Details
Subategory:
Mutants
Description:
The ery3a mutation was induced by mutagenesis with nitrosoguanidine and shown to be equivalent to ery-2y. This is a very useful strain for mapping on the right arm of linkage group I, easy to score as resistant to 100 micrograms/mL erythromycin on minimal medium. We suspect the ERY3 locus corresponds to the PRPL34 gene, encoding chloroplast ribosomal protein L34.
