The Plant and Algae DNA Isolation Kit is specifically designed for the purification of total DNA from plants and algae. The method of pretreatment of plant samples will directly affect DNA production and fragment integrity, therefore, it is important to ensure that the sample pretreatment process is performed at low temperatures. The NanoMag Plant and Algae DNA Isolation Kit comes with proprietary magnetic beads and specially formulated buffers. The purified DNA can then be efficiently eluted with EL and will be prepared for PCR or other enzymatic reactions or stored at -20°C. These procedures can be fully automated on the magnetic bead processor instrument and are easy to use.
