Exosomes contain protein components and RNA components, such as micro-RNA, miRNA, long-stranded non-coding RNA (lncRNA), mRNA, and circular RNA (circRNA). These RNAs carried by exosomes are collectively referred to as exosome-derived RNAs and have complete sequence structure and biological activity.
