The endoplasmic reticulum (ER) is a continuous membrane system consisting of the nuclear envelope, a flat peripheral sheet containing ribosomes, and interconnected tubules that run through most of the cytoplasm. The ER acts as a protein factory and calcium depot and also as an environment for monitoring protein quality, which is monitored by various signaling pathways mediated by protein folding assistants. By using the extraction method, the plant endoplasmic reticulum protein with high purity was obtained, which laid the foundation for further study of endoplasmic reticulum proteomics.
Lifeasible provides extraction services of endoplasmic reticulum in plants to help our customers worldwide in plant scientific research.
