Insect Enzyme Detection

Insect Enzyme Detection

Enzymes are proteins, RNAs, or their complexes that catalyze specific chemical reactions. The vast majority of enzymes are proteins in their chemical nature. Many enzymes form a regular system of enzymes that control and regulate the metabolic activities of complex life. In recent years, the development of insect enzymes has unfolded in several applications. Like the melanin generated by cytochrome enzymes plays an important role in the normal growth and development of insects. Chitinases can digest the chitin in the insect epidermis so that chitin does not restrict the growth and development of insects.

Our Methods for Insect Enzyme Detection

  • Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)

Lifeasible uses ELISA to test all enzymes such as oxidoreductase, hydrolase, transferases, lyases, isomerases, etc. Using solid-phase type of enzyme immunoassay (EIA) to detect the presence of a ligand (commonly a protein) in an insect sample with some advantages like simple operation, rapidity, high sensitivity, strong specificity. This is currently the most widely used and fastest-growing enzyme immunological technique.

  • Biochemical assay

Lifeasible uses a biochemical analyzer, an instrument that uses the principle of photoelectric colorimetry to measure the chemical composition of certain enzymes in insect body fluids. This method has the advantages of fast measurement speed, high accuracy and small consumption of reagents.

Sample Requirements

Insect enzyme detection can be used for the live insect samples. The number of samples is not less than 12 and each sample weights 0.4 mg or more.

Advantages

  • Testing enzyme in insect samples with simple operation.
  • High sensitivity in the detection of enzyme.
  • Biochemical assay has strong specificity in the detection of enzyme.
  • High-quality experimental reagents are used to detect enzyme.
  • Detecting enzyme with small consumption of reagents.

Lifeasible provides insect enzyme detection of hydrolase, transferases, lyases, isomerases and oxidoreductase use ELISA and biochemical assay by professional teams of scientists, researchers, and technicians with simple operation, rapidity, high sensitivity, strong specificity.
