Description	Maitake is a delicious, soft-fleshed polypore that grows in northern, temperate deciduous forests. It grows well on hardwood sawdust/chips/bran, and typically produces one large mushroom per flush. This species requires more attention to detail than other mushrooms.
Directions	Unlike our ready-to-grow Mushroom Patches and Mushroom Plug Spawn, our cultures do not come with instructions. It is assumed that the purchaser is sufficiently familiar with mushroom culture technique to utilize these cultures.
