Description	Maitake is a choice culinary mushroom. This strain produces fronds of grey-brown with white undersides and fruits in the early fall. While this strain can be used on sterilized sawdust substrate, it is more successful on logs.

Spawn run time	On Logs: 6-24 months
Fruiting temperature range	50-70°F
Mycelium growth temperature	50-60°F. Spawn run will occur outdoors at temperatures above 50°F.
