Composition Lion’s Mane
Description Lion’s mane, also known as hericium erinaceus, is a medicinal mushroom that has long been treasured in Japan and China as an edible fungi and health tonic. The cream-coloured mushroom commonly grows on dead oak and beech trees in Asia, North America and parts of Europe, and its unusual cascading spines have earned it the nickname of the pom pom mushroom. We collect ten pounds of high grade, whole lion's mane mushrooms and concentrate them into one pound of potent extract powder that is 100% natural and free from added ingredients
Application Dr. Kawasagi was the first person to identify the presence of two nerve growth factors (NGF) in the mushroom, which both play an important role in the development and survival of nerve cells. These findings have led lion's mane mushrooms to be studied in several large scientific research projects, including their potential against Alzheimer's disease and dementia.

Lion’s mane mushrooms have been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 2,000 years, as they are believed to promote healthy brain and cognitive function, aid digestion and improve muscular co-ordination. They are also rich in minerals, amino acids, polypeptides, fatty acids and polysaccharides which may support a healthy immune system.
