Product Overview
Burks Medium is used for isolation and cultivation of nitrogen fixing bacteria such as Azotobacter species from soil.

White to cream homogeneous free flowing powder
Characteristic
Cultural characteristics after an incubation at 30 centigrade for 7 days.
Storage
Store below 30 centigrade in tightly closed container and the prepared medium at 2-8 centigrade.
Instructions
Suspend 21.3 grams in 1000 ml distilled water. Heat if necessary to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121 centigrade) for 15 minutes. Mix well and dispense as desired.
