Phytopathogenic Microbe yeast extract glucose agar non selective medium used to subculture suspected Xanthomonads and Clavibacters.

Cultural characteristics observed after an incubation at 25-30 centigrade for 5-6 days.
Reaction of 6.5% w/v aqueous solution. is pH : 6.9 at 25 centigrade.
Storage
Store below 30 centigrade and the prepared medium at 2 - 8 centigrade.
Instructions
Suspend 65.0 grams in 1000 ml distilled water. Heat just to boiling. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure(121 centigrade) for 15 minutes. Cool to 45-50 centigrade. Mix well so as to distribute Calcium carbonate evenly and pour into sterile Petri plates.
