Sabouraud Dextrose Agar with Soya Lecithin and polysorbate 80 is used for the cultivation of yeasts, moulds and aciduric bacteria.

Cream to yellow coloured homogeneous free flowing powder
Characteristic
Cultural characteristics observed after an incubation at 30 centigrade for 48-72 hours.
Reaction of 7.07% w/v aqueous solution at 25 centigrade. pH : 5.6±0.2.
Storage
Store below 30 centigrade in tightly closed container and the prepared medium at 2 - 8 centigrade.
Instructions
Suspend 70.7 grams in 1000 ml distilled water. Heat to boiling to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121 centigrade) for 15 minutes. Mix well and dispense as desired.
