Overview
GW4869 is a cell-permeable, specific, non-competitive N-Smase inhibitor. It blocks ceramide-mediated budding of multivesicular bodies thereby inhibiting the release of exosomes from multivesicular bodies, and is commonly used to inhibit exosome production.
