It reduces the sliding resistance between asphalt membranes by forming a micelle structure in the asphalt, reducing the mixing and paving temperature of asphalt mixtures by 30°C-40°C. This warm mix has the advantages of reducing asphalt aging, prolonging road performance, facilitating metering and pumping, saving energy by more than 30%, reducing asphalt smoke emissions by 90% and carbon dioxide emissions by more than 50%, and does not affect the other technical requirements of the asphalt mixture.

It can be used in road asphalt gathering stations, construction as,phalt, hydraulic asphalt, asphalt waterproof material production and construction. It can reduce the temperature of asphalt storage and use, thus saving a lot of energy.

Laboratory use of warm mix should be based on different asphalt, indoor temperature, and road surface requirements to determine the amount of warm mix. Base asphalt heating temperature should be 135 ° C -155 ° C, aggregate heating temperature 120 ° C - 140 ° C, specimen molding temperature of 125 ° C - 135 ° C. Modified asphalt heating temperature should be 145 ° C-165 ° C, aggregate heating temperature 135 ° C-150 ° C, specimen molding temperature should be 135 ° C-145 ° C. Laboratory mixing and test piece molding temperature should be higher than the production mixing temperature of 10-15 °C.
