Melamine Rapid Detection Kit (20) is designed for the detection of melamine residues in liquid milk and milk powder.

Melamine Rapid Detection Kit (20) uses the principle of immunochromatography to rapidly detect melamine residues in milk. It has the characteristics of simple operation and short detection time, and is suitable for on-site rapid detection of melamine residues by various enterprises, testing institutions and supervision departments.

The validity period is one year.

Melamine, commonly known as protein essence, is a triazine and nitrogen-containing heterocyclic organic compound used as a chemical raw material. Due to defects of protein content test methods in the protein and feed industry, melamine is often used as a food additive by unscrupulous traders to improve protein content in food, so melamine is also known as "protein essence." Long-term intake of melamine can cause damage to the reproductive and urinary systems, bladder and kidney stones, and can further induce bladder cancer. Most adults will excrete most of the melamine, but if combined with cyanuric acid, melamine will form insoluble melamine cyanurate, causing severe kidney stones.
