Hyaluronic Acid (hyaluronic acid hyaluronic acid), HA is a β-3-acetyl glucosamine (GlcNAc) and β-1,4-glucuronide (GlcA) disaccharide repeating units consisting of linear mucopolysaccharides. HA is widely distributed in nature, extracellular matrix components, mammalian connective tissue, synovial fluid, skin, vitreous body, umbilical cord and comb, whale cartilage, shark skin, seaweed, mollusks contain HA, in prolaryotic cells it exists in the sticky capsule. In humans, skin containing 7-8 g HA, according for over 50% of the total, the umbilical cord and synovial fluid HA content is also very rich.
