Streptococcus dysgalactiae TaqMan PCR Kit

Streptococcus dysgalactiae TaqMan PCR kit is designed for the detection of Streptococcus dysgalactiae in milk.

Streptococcus dysgalactiae is an α-hemolytic gram-positive bacterium, which is a common pathogen causing mastitis, and will cause huge economic losses to the dairy farming industry. S. dysgalactiae can be isolated from infected mammary glands and nipple lesions and spread during milking.

Streptococcus dysgalactiae TaqMan PCR Kit is specially designed for the detection of Streptococcus dysgalactiae-specific DNA in foods such as milk by real-time PCR based on TaqMan technology. The detection of this kit is based on TaqMan PCR, which is simple, reliable and fast. Includes Master Mix, Primer & Probe Mix for target and PCR control assays, and positive and negative controls (nuclease-free water) to confirm kit reagent integrity.

Streptococcus dysgalactiae

Each Streptococcus dysgalactiae TaqMan PCR Kit is tested against predetermined specifications to ensure consistent product quality.

If the reagents are to be used only intermittently, they should be frozen in aliquots.

All reagents can be stored for 1 year at -20℃ without showing any reduction in performance.

This product should be stored at -20℃ upon arrival. Repeated thawing and freezing (> 2 ×) of the Master Mix, Control Master Mix and Positive Control should be avoided, as this may affect the performance of the assay.

Follow general precautions. All specimens should be considered potentially infectious and handled accordingly.
1. Take protective measures.
2. Use sterile pipette tips.
3. Use aseptic technique.
4. Do not use consumables and equipment in dedicated areas for i) sample extraction, ii) reaction setup, and iii) amplification/detection.
5. Store and extract positive material (specimens, controls, and amplicons) separately from all other reagents.
6. Dispose of unused kit reagents and samples according to local, provincial or federal regulations.
7. The presence of PCR inhibitors may lead to false negative or invalid results. Potential mutations within the targeted region of the Streptococcus dysgalactiae genome covered by the primers in this kit may result in the undetectable presence of the pathogen.
8. Ensure that proper specimen collection, transport, storage, and handling techniques are followed to achieve optimum performance of this test.
