Testing Mechanism
Normal mature pollen grains are highly active and can germinate and grow under suitable culture conditions. The pollen growth state can be directly observed under a microscope to calculate its germination rate and thus determine pollen activity.

Vigor Judgment Criteria
1. Fast and good pollen germination means high pollen vigor.
2. Slow pollen germination means weak pollen vigor.
3. No pollen germination means no vigor or sterility.
Pollen Vigor Calculation Formula
Observe and count 100 pollen grains to calculate the percentage of viable pollen. The calculation formula is as follows:
Percent pollen viability (%) = Number of viable pollen / 100 × 100%
Notes
1. The culture medium needs to be used as soon as possible after opening the lid or stored at low temperature.
2. Pollen incubation temperature should be controlled at 25℃
3. For your safety and health, please wear white coat and disposable gloves for operation.
