Applications
Vincristine mainly inhibits the polymerization of microtubule proteins and prevents the formation of spindle microtubules, causing tumor cells to stop mitosis at mid-stage. Vincristine can also act on the cell membrane, interfering with the transport of amino acids by the cell membrane, causing inhibition of protein synthesis, and also inhibiting RNA synthesis.
