Spirulina Liquid Extract is an upgraded version of powdered phycocyanin, while it's more convenient to use. The natural blue food dye is a blue honey-like liquid with features of fasting-dissolving, no dust flying, and easy to use.

Blue spirulina (phycocyanin) is a kind of protein binding pigment, with the same properties as protein. It's final product is blue liquid , easy soluble in water and insoluble in ethyl alcohol and grease. It has poor stability to heat, light and acid, while it is stable under weak acid and neutral conditions (PH4.5-8). However, will occur precipitation phenomenon under acid conditions, and strong alkali can make phycocyanin discoloured , it has poor stability to metal ions and poor chromaticity.
