We synthesize the target gene sequences required for customer research according to customer requirements. PCR amplification, synthesis, or enzymatic digestion can obtain these gene sequences.
We clone the target gene into a plant expression vector. This vector contains promoters, terminators, selection tags, and other regulatory elements that control protein expression for efficient expression of the target protein.
Plant tissue culture technology is utilized to grow transgenic plants or cells. We will optimize the culture medium and growth conditions according to the characteristics of different plants to promote the growth of transformed cells and the accumulation of target proteins. Successfully transformed plants are subsequently identified by antibiotic screening or other labeling methods.
Choosing the appropriate expression system is intuitively important for recombinant protein plant expression services; for example, we can obtain transgenic plants capable of long-term expression of target proteins through Agrobacterium-mediated transient transfection or stable transformation. When we choose purification techniques, we base the choice of purification method on the nature of the target protein, and sometimes, we can also choose and use a combination of techniques based on the characteristics of the target protein to obtain high-purity recombinant proteins.
Purified recombinant proteins are subjected to quality testing, including determining purity, activity, concentration, and other parameters, to ensure that their quality meets the requirements. In addition, we evaluate their biological activity, stability, and other tests.
