We are looking for research scientists/project managers to lead the research and development (R&D) group focused on gene editing research, including but not limited to gene editing in cyanobacteria, gene editing in chloroplast of plants, gene editing in yeast.
To successfully provide high-quality gene editing services to our customers, candidates are expected to have work experience in relevant biotechnology companies.
Responsibilities
Design and operate gene editing studies to fulfill the needs of our clients with support from the research team.
Perform experiments, troubleshooting, data collection, and data analysis complying with all applicable regulatory standards and safety standards.
Develop new operational procedures and improve existing procedures for process improvement.
Ensure timely delivery of the results requested by our clients without compromising quality.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry, plant biology or microbiology is preferred. Ph.D. in other related fields is also considered.
A minimum of 1 year of work experience in relevant biotechnology companies.
Proficiency in gene editing research, especially plasmid construction, cell transfection, cell culture, plant culture, virus (lentivirus and AAV) packaging preferred.
Experienced in the use of specialized laboratory equipment, and capable of planning, performing and troubleshooting scientific experiments.
Excellent problem-solving ability and communication skills.
Ability to multi-task with a drive to meet deadlines.
