This is a showy bulb flower that is native to Siberia. It produces spherical clusters of yellow-white flowers from March to May. It is an excellent cut flower variety and is also attractive to bees and butterflies. In particular, its bulbs and leaves emit an unpleasant smell when broken, often referred to as "garlic smell".
