Native to Siberia, European Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Xizang (Tibet), and Xinjiang, this lovely flower with pale purple to blue/mauve star-shaped flowers in summer has flat, nodding green leaves with a mild onion/garlic flavor. Can add excitement to salads or egg and cheese dishes.
