Nantes-type carrots with 12 to 15cm cylindrical roots, a blunt end, and natural succulence and sweetness, high in beta-carotene, are a second early main crop variety. Known for carrot fly resistance, this variety performs well from early summer through autumn, earning the prestigious Award of Garden Merit.
