Description

Representing an exquisite, early-flowering variation of Colchicum speciosum, this rare specimen from Northern Turkey produces almost white buds with a greenish perianth tube. Maturing into pale rosy-lilac flowers with a white throat in late autumn, its narrower leaves and purplish anthers distinguish it. Originally deemed a species, it's now classified under Colchicum speciosum.
