Description

The Costus family includes "spiral gingers," like this one displaying attractive dazzling red bracts opening into bright yellow flowers. Thriving as evergreen plants in subtropical and tropical areas, they are suitable for colder regions in Zones 7 to 11. Also ideal as houseplants, they flower year-round once established.
