Description

Carex pensylvanica, a fine-textured Sedge, reproduces by rhizomes and rarely exceeds 8" in height when blooming. Sought-after for its traditional lawn appearance, dry-soil tolerance, and adaptability to full sun or full shade. It actively grows during the cool spring and fall soil temperatures.
