Description

From lush clumps of divided leaves arise short stems with prominently-hooded, violet-blue flowers. This high alpine species, native to Eastern Asia, the Western Himalayas, Kashmir, and Tibet, grows in the wild at elevations ranging from 3000 to 4800 meters.
