Description

Clusters of deepest blood-red flowers on wiry stems above grassy foliage characterize this brilliant new perennial, aptly named "Blood Carnation." Thriving in poor, well-drained soil in full sun, it's a great addition to ornamental grasses, gravel gardens, or wild-effect gardens. A rare and gorgeous dark red Dianthus that attracted attention at Chelsea 2011.
