Description

A rarely-seen tree in parks and gardens, displaying divided leaves crowned by fragrant panicles of male and female flowers in May and June. Slow-growing, it becomes a sizable shrub or small to medium-sized tree, rarely surpassing 10 m in height. It thrives in somewhat drier soil and a warm, sunny locale, with minimal fertile seeds collected.
