Fritillaria michailovskyi, an unusual and striking dwarf fritillary with several bell-shaped flowers in late spring to early summer, featuring very dark purple petals with a bright yellow band at the outer end and a shiny yellow and dark red interior. Easily grown in a pot or a sunny, well-drained bed or trough, with lance-shaped grey-green leaves growing from an upright stem.
