Description

Robust and floriferous, this graceful plant bears pale greenish-yellow flowers with maroon-black anthers, blooming in April-May. Native to mountainous regions in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, North Pakistan, and Western China, it prefers humus-enriched soils with good drainage.
