Description

Dubbed one of the hardiest gladioli, this species is claimed to survive down to Zone 3 and stands out as one of the rarest. It forms a dense spike of large, rich-colored flowers, attractively marked on the lower petals, usually in shades of deep purple to carmine, making it the most valuable of the Mediterranean species.
