Description

Wild Hyacinth, or Atlantic Camas, is the only eastern species in its Lily family, featuring pale blue-violet flowers that bloom from bottom to top. Thriving in full sun or open shade, it prefers rich, acidic soils but can tolerate clay soils with adequate moisture. The bulbs are edible and were historically a significant food source.
