Description

Hailing from South African mountains, this exquisite bulbous flower, rarely spotted in the wild or cultivation, showcases spikes of shell-pink blooms in mid to late summer. Following this display, the long, strap-shaped leaves gracefully recede to an underground resting bulb. In warm, well-drained sites, it may self-seed or naturally multiply underground, while potted cultivation ensures protection from the elements.
