Description

Discovered in 2000 at 15,000 ft elevation at the border of Yunnan, Szechuan, and Tibet, this recently found Chinese species boasts flamboyant magenta to crimson, yellow-throated trumpet-flowers. With more divided foliage, it stands out from I. mairei, displaying a deeper, glowing pink.
