Description

Fragrant spring-blooming flowers in hues between yellow and purple, with white or yellow beards, grace this rare and diminutive gem. Growing on stony hillsides in the Eastern Mediterranean, notably in North West Turkey, it possesses disproportionately large flowers rising from an unruly tangle of small blue-green or greyish-green curved leaves.
