Plains Oval Sedge, also known as Shortbeak Sedge, is a hardy and versatile plant that grows in dry, disturbed areas, as well as wetlands and seasonally flooded sites. With prickly oval spikes turning golden brown in the fall, its short stature and mounded profile make it an excellent landscape addition.
