Description

Originating from the southern Himalayas, this fast-growing, drought-resistant tree bears fragrant orchid-like flowers, later forming hanging three-sided brown capsules with dark brown, globular seeds. The whitish-grey bark is surrounded by thick cork, commonly cut back for cultivation.
